What is a Fax Storm?

A Fax Storm is when a group of people on the internet spam a fax machine with an image, statement or just a page filled with a uniform black tone to send a message to a company. In our case, we want them to denounce their support for SOPA.

How do we Fax Storm?

It’s easy, you may want to download Tor so you can remain anonymous. When you have Tor open, create a fake, disposable email at www.mailinator.com and then go to myfax.com/free and fax the number repeatedly using the image above.

What companies are we Fax Storming?

Today we are targeting a few of the biggest SOPA supporters, here are their fax numbers:

Sony: (888) 476-6972

CBS: (212) 975-4516

Wal-Mart: (479) 277-1830

When do we start the Fax Storming?

I will let my followers know an hour or so in advance. Usually we will Fax Storm for an hour then stop, but these since these three companies are the biggest SOPA supporters, we will fax them till 1am tomorrow.

The Fax Storm will begin at 3pm EST 12/31/2011

We invite everyone that opposes SOPA to help Fax Storm these companies until they denounce their support for the bill.
